Each piece is made to order - you choose the city - with a cut-out from an original map/atlas (not a photocopy or printout!) Please allow 7-9 business days for completion before your jewelry is shipped.
All items are shipped via USPS First Class Mail (with delivery confirmation if shipped within the US,) and sent in a gift box tied with a ribbon, ready for giving or receiving!

Custom Map Cuff Bracelet

The inside of the bracelet is lined with a satin ribbon, and the entire cuff has been coated in multiple layers of durable glossy glaze on all sides to help protect the piece as a whole. While the coating adds water resilience, it is not considered waterproof and I wouldn't recommend swimming, showering, washing dishes, etc. while wearing it.
The total size of the actual piece is 6-inches long and 3/4-inch wide. The metal base used is rather flexible, so you can bend and adjust the fit according to your own wrist. It should comfortably fit up to a 7-inch wrist (actual wrist size) or smaller.

Custom Oval Map Locket Necklace

This necklace features a vintage oval brass locket from the 1970s, of which I will add a map with the city of your choice to the front. The map is coated with various glazes and sealers to make it water resistant, but it is not considered waterproof. Please do not swim, bathe, etc, while wearing this piece.
I chose to use these wonderfully larger sized lockets so that they would be big enough to tuck away a little note or photograph on the inside. The locket measures 1 3/4-inches tall (4.3cm) by 1 1/2-inches wide (3.75cm) and is made of brass, with an inner copper ring and hinge. Please note that due to it's age, the brass is naturally tarnished in some areas, and will vary from one locket to the next. I think it adds to the charm of the piece! Please take care when opening/closing the locket.
CHAIN INFO: Your locket will hang from an oxidized sterling silver chain that finishes with a spring clasp closure. You may choose any chain length up to 24-inches/61cm. If you do not specify a length, your necklace will be sent with the 24-inch chain, as shown on the model in the last photograph.
